Strider is a scheduling application for individual content creators. It publishes a creator's own videos to the creator's own social media accounts at times they choose. This policy explains exactly what data Strider accesses, how it is used, who it is shared with, how it is protected, and how long it is kept.
You can remove Strider's access to your Google account at any time — whether or not you keep using Strider — at the Google security settings page.
1. What data Strider accesses
From the social media platforms
When you connect an account, Strider requests the narrowest permissions that allow it to publish. It requests no permission it does not use.

Personal profiles are never connected. Strider can only connect Facebook Pages you manage and Instagram Business or Creator accounts, because those are the only kinds Meta allows apps to publish to. It never connects to, reads or posts to a personal Facebook profile or a personal Instagram account.
Strider does not access: your direct messages, your followers or who you follow, your audience data or any analytics beyond the counts described above, other people's posts, your email, your contacts, your location, or anything belonging to any account you have not connected.
From you
- The video files and captions you schedule
- The times you choose to publish them
- An email address, for your account and for support
- A record of what was published and when, so the app can show you your history and avoid publishing the same thing twice
- A short identifier of each video's contents, so the same clip is not accidentally published twice to the same account. It is derived from the file and cannot be turned back into it
Cookies
Strider sets one cookie, and only after you sign in.

It is strictly necessary: without it, signing in would not work at all. That is why there is no cookie banner — there is nothing to opt out of that would leave a working product, and Strider sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies of any kind.
The cookie is marked HttpOnly, so scripts on the page cannot
read it, and SameSite=Lax, so another website cannot use it to act
as you. When Strider is reached over https it is also marked
Secure, so it is never sent unencrypted.
Signing out deletes it. Clearing your browser's cookies for this site does the same thing, and signs you out.
2. How that data is used
Only to do the thing you asked for, at the time you asked for it:
- Publishing. Your video and caption are sent to the platform you chose, at the time you chose.
- Confirming the destination. Before every post, Strider checks the connected account matches the one you set up. If it does not, the post is refused and you are told.
- Telling you what happened. Successes and failures are recorded so you can see them, and so a failed post can be retried.
- Showing you how your posts are doing. For posts Strider published to YouTube and X, it reads their view, like, comment and repost counts and shows them to you. They are never shown to anyone else, never combined with other people's figures, and never used for anything else.
- Support. If you send a diagnostic report, it is used to investigate the problem you reported and nothing else.
Your data is not used for advertising, for profiling, for building any audience model, for resale, or for training artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Your videos are not viewed by us except where you specifically ask for help with one.
3. Who it is shared with
Your data is not sold, rented or shared with anyone for their own purposes. It is not shared with advertisers, data brokers, analytics companies, or AI services.
It is disclosed in only three circumstances:
- To the platform you chose. Publishing to TikTok means sending your video to TikTok. That is the service working as intended.
- To the suppliers who run our systems, strictly to provide the service — currently our hosting provider. They act on our instructions and cannot use your data for anything else. A current list is available on request.
- Where the law requires it.
4. How it is protected
Access tokens
The tokens that allow Strider to publish on your behalf are stored encrypted, are never written to logs, and are never shown on any screen. They are transmitted only to the platform that issued them, over an encrypted connection.
Data in transit
All connections use HTTPS. Videos are uploaded directly to the platforms using their own published upload interfaces.
Your videos
Scheduled videos are stored only until they have been published, and are then deleted. They are not kept as an archive.
Diagnostic reports
The diagnostic report Strider can produce is redacted before it is written: access tokens, sign-in codes and secrets are removed and reported only as present or missing. The report is shown to you before you send it, and nothing is transmitted unless you choose to send it.
Sensitive data
Strider holds no payment card details, no government identifiers, and no health, biometric or special category data.
5. How long it is kept, and how to delete it

How to delete it
- Disconnect an account inside Strider. Its token is deleted immediately and Strider can no longer publish to it.
- Revoke access at the platform. Every platform lets you remove an app's access from its own settings. For Google and YouTube this is the Google security settings page. This works whether or not you still use Strider, and it is separate from Strider's own deletion of the data it holds.
- Close your Strider account by emailing Contact Strider. Everything above is deleted within 30 days.
6. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to how it is used, or ask us to restrict its use. Email Contact Strider and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
7. Where data is held
Data is held on servers in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. Where a supplier operates outside that area, appropriate safeguards are used as required by UK data protection law.
8. Children
Strider is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address with an updated date at the top. Material changes will be notified by email.
10. The early access list and contact form
This section covers the forms on our public website, which are separate from the Strider application described above.
What we collect. If you join the early access list we collect your full name, email address and mobile number. If you use the contact form we collect your email address, your message, and your name if you give it.
Why. To contact you about early access to Strider, and to reply to messages you send us. Nothing else. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or add you to anything you did not ask for.
Your permission. You give it by ticking the box on the form, and you can withdraw it at any time by asking us to remove your details.
How it is handled. Your details are not stored in Strider’s database. The form sends them to us as an email, and that email is the only copy we keep.
How long we keep it. Until public signup has opened and we have told you, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first.
Removing your details. Use the contact form with the email address you gave us and ask to be removed. We will delete your details and confirm when it is done.
